Free Oral HIV Tests
At Body Mind and Spirit, we understand that the possibility of HIV exposure can be distressing. To provide a low-key and accessible option for those concerned, we offer oral HIV tests with complete confidentiality. These tests have been available since 2018 and were first promoted by UNAIDS that year.
Please note that while these tests are specifically for HIV, they do not cover other sexually transmitted diseases. For comprehensive testing and absolute certainty, we recommend visiting the hospital. For more information or to pick up a test, please contact the Saba Cares hospital or the Public Health department

International Awareness Days
In addition to our core activities, Body Mind and Spirit (BMS) actively raises awareness for various important causes. We collaborate with local partners such as the Saba Lions Club, the Public Health Department, and the Saba Cares Foundation. In 2020, our awareness efforts included events for World Cancer Day, the International Day Against Homo-, Bi-, and Transphobia, World AIDS Day, Human Rights Day, and Children’s Rights Week.
Saba Initiative
In 2015, Body Mind and Spirit received sponsorship from Samenwerkende Fondsen to launch the Saba Initiative in 2016. This course focuses on self-awareness and helps participants find life balance to take meaningful action.
Developed and led by Suchita Peeters, the program concluded in 2020. By then, funding was depleted and many individuals who were interested had already participated in the program.
